These, and even before that, max 30 titles.
That's assuming that you're a PvEer. If you're a PvPer, I've got no ideas for you. Run new builds, maybe?
I'm still not done with my 30 titles, and it'll take me a while to get those all finished. GW is getting a little boring for me, but I still have some friends to play with there, a guild that's very active, and the occasional comedy that I find on these forums. It's still worth playing for me.

I found a lot of the threads jumping up lately interesting. It's made it clearer than ever that there really are two types of (RP) players out there.
I'm going to use books to illustrate my point because I think it makes a nice and fairly accurate analogy. Over the years I've come to the conclusion that there are two types of readers:
1) People who have been there and read it and that is it. They don't re-read books because they don't see the point. They've read it, they're done with it.
2) People who own a stack of books they have already read a 100 times over, yet every time they pick a book up they enjoy it as much as they did the last. For them they don't care that they know the storyline - simply re-reading the words on the page sends them off into fantasy land.
Personally I'm of the second type. I enjoy my books no matter how many times I read and re-read them. Of course there is always something just a little bit more exciting about reading a book you haven't read before. But when push comes to shove and old favourite is just as enjoyable as a new book.
I view games in a similar light. I am STILL playing and re-playing games like Morrowind, Oblivion, NWN, because I STILL enjoy them. I love GW because like a good book, even though I am picking it up for the 100th time, I still get sent off into fantasy land to fight the monsters.
It has very little to do with the "quality" of the game, as another thread has suggested, and much more to do with the players. Many gamers are like reader type #1, they play a game and that is it. It's done, it's dusted. Some players of this catagory seem to think they need to get MORE out of it because it's an online game and the idea of online games has always been that they go on "forever". So they try to find more to do, but when they are done with that they are just as bored as they were before they went out hunting their achievement.
You can't change the type of person you are, and why try changing just to squeeze a couple of hours out of a game. Those who are bored (because of reason #1) should just accept that GW for them has had its time and that its time to more on to something else.

ANet does, they think you should grind endlessly for pointless titles. You need to repeat this process over and over and over and over (continues 100,000 times) until you fill up your Hall of Monuments.
Then on GW2 you might get a free consumable, or mini pet saying how 1337 you are because you had no life and fulfilled the duties a programed bot program could do it for you instead.
or you can do what some of us are doing and play something else for a while.
Sins of a Solar Empire is good as well as a few other games that have come out.
However if you want a good Fantasy experience and if your computer can handle it you might try Age of Conan. Keep in mind AoC is pay to play unlike Guild Wars but you get what you paid for.

This is classically what happens to all games with no futher character progression or loot progression. Everything becomes stale and stuck at a low max number like level 20 and +15^50 as the two main boring components of this game. This is why regular mmorpgs last so much longer and provide years and years of fun an non boring play. Same with offline games that have unlimited content like "Neverwinter Nights" with well over 3000 adventure mods to download and play or "Morrowind" which with it's two expansions and player made mods has a lifetime of play value as well. And even Diablo 2 which has 99 levels and unlimited loot opportunities which doesn't make playing the same areas of it over an over that boring because of the new loots and items and things you can find and use. It's too bad GW went the way of a simpleton type of game and content. Once you've played out the story there's nothing really left, but, repetitive play at level 20 and +15^50 or now Ursans Blessing to do it all with little or no skill required. So, I can understand your boredom. It has happened to a lot of us. For me all that is left is the fun of just playing PVP (AB/RA/FA) just for the simple fun of going after and stomping rangers and sins. I made a build specifically for taking them out with ease and then I dance on their heads. That's the only fun really left in GW for me, maybe you should try that?
Oh I would also make one grand suggestion to any bored with any rpg game. If you can find a copy of "DAGGERFALL" and can live with the 8bit heh or maybe 16bit graphics this is the best rpg ever made. It has 150,000 square miles of adventure area yep that's right 150,000 square miles and unlimited quests of all types. It's really better than Morrowind and Oblivion and made by the same company. You will never finish it because well it's not made to be FINISHED because it is a WORLD to play in not a STORY. That's the big problem with GW is it's a story and not a world and why GW2 is going to be persistant and bring that worldlike feeling to the game.

This really sums it up. Unlike monthly fee games, it doesn't matter if you drop Guild Wars for a while, or don't play it exclusively. Your money isn't being wasted while you see other games. AoC is probably awesome, but it's so high maintenance. Guild Wars is cool if you need to sow your wild oats in the gaming world, and it'll always be warm and waiting for you when you return.

End of March I got bored of GW. So I wanted to quit. About 2 1/2 weeks ago there was the Zaishen Update. I just wanted to take a look at the crazy people buying z-keys for ridiculous prices. And know I can't stop playing GW again.
Take a Break. Have a Kit Kat.

Move on to WoW if you can afford it. Its nothing like GW so its a refreshing experience. When you get bored with it, put your subscription on hold and come back to GW, works for me.
